Oregon\u2019s Route 99 and its east and west branches preserve parts of that corridor, alongside roads now maintained locally.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">North of Junction City, the branches follow different paths through the Willamette Valley: 99E serves Albany and Salem, while 99W passes through Corvallis and McMinnville. Exact historic street routes depend on the year being studied.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The US 99 designation ended in Oregon in 1971.
